This week we visit September 1981, when Adam Ant was the hottest property about, The Stones could still pull off a top 10 hit and the decade of novelty hits like The Tweets and the hit mixes like Enigma, Stars on 45 and The Hollies with their revival hit mix.

Hits a-plenty from Soft Cell, ELO, Ultravox, Hi-Gloss, Linx, Genesis, Human League and more, album new entries from Shaky and Ultravox and a number one classic album there. All the Top 20 hits and some from the bottom half, plus a triple play from the albums makes it a very good year.

There are three re-entries popping their heads back in, one of them for the third time, as well as two new entries this week. Camilla looking for three weeks at the top, or has Rita Ora zoomed in there or perhaps the ever popular Post Malone ‘Rockstar’ has reclaimed its crown.

In the albums, Elton has yet another career spanning greatest hits out, Taylor Swift releases her ‘Reputation’ and a taste of Shed Seven comes in there. New music from Matoma, Luis Fonsi and Steve Aoki, as well as your flashbacks to yesteryear. Enjoy!

Sam Smith has a re-entry om the singles chart, but which one? Playing all the Top 20, some new ones at the bottom, flashbacks to number one’s from yesteryear and much more. Enjoy this week’s show.

Four new entries inside the forty this week, has Taylor Swift knocked herself off number one? She has a new one inside there. Jason Derulo and Maroon 5 among the other new entries. There’s new songs from Sam Smith, George Michael and U2.

The album chart has new ones from Jake Bugg, and LCD Sound System to name a couple. Playing the Top 20 singles in full, some from below, the fight for number one goes on with Taylor possible dominating with two songs. Dua Lipa can reclaim that top spot though, but don’t count P!nk out just yet. Enjoy!
