New entries inside from Paramore, Maggie Lindemann and Miley Cyrus ( a deeply personal song which is surprisingly very good) J Hus takes the top ten this week, changes at the top? Well, Beiber is currently in control but who can take him on with his collaborations with Luis Fonsi and DJ Khaled. Disciples looking to embark into the twenty, alongside possible climb ups for Julia Michaels again, and new ones from Jonas Blue & Niall Horan. Did he make it?

There’s some big changes in the top ten albums, J Hus and Paramore again, also new ones from Paul Weller and of course Mr Harry Styles. Tracks from each of those, all the greatest hits of this week plus a dive into yesteryear with more than one classic number one. Enjoy!

A few that may have escaped your notice but are typically eighties from Pointer Sisters, Robert Palmer, Jeffrey Osborne and Squeeze. We play your eight of the eighties and a bit of banter in there too, just because I can. Enjoy!

So the chart these days shows some fair up and down measures as a few who have been going down are now going back up, Bruno Mars, Martin Jensen, Lady Gaga, Ed Sheeran for example. New ventures from Niall Horan, Kyle ft Lil Yachty and Jonas Blue.

The fight for the top is from Beiber and Beiber as a guest on two projects, DJ Khaled’s ‘I’m The One’ and Luis Fonsi’s ‘Despacito’ find out who won, after stalling for a bit Shawn Mendes is on the ascent, also in there will be some Kendrick Lamar, Drake, Jason Derulo and Julia Michaels. The album chart, the entire top 20 being played and so much more crammed into two hours. Enjoy!

It is the current UK top 40. Ed Sheeran looking to dominate the top 3 again and a 12th week on top maybe? So after the Drake and Ed Sheeran domination of the supposed singles chart (where now any old album track can enter apparently) we see that Ed still has the best of his “divide” inside the singles chart, and Drake is left with some “Passionfruit”. It’s a bit more evenly placed this week.

We have the entire top 20 singles and, some of those between forty and twenty and a delve into the album chart. New entry there from Gorillaz. At the top of the singles the Beiber boy is back fighting Mr Sheeran and Lara for that top spot. Who is gonna win. Join me to find out. Enjoy!

It is the current UK top 40. Ed Sheeran looking to dominate the top 3 again and a 12th week on top maybe? We have brand new The Chainsmokers, Calvin Harris, Becky Hill and Louisa Johnson.

The album chart, the entire top 20 singles, and some from forty to twenty. Did Take That take the top spot in the albums off Ed? Did Drake take the top spot off Ed in the Singles? And will Donald Trump ever get a decent wig considering all that money. All these questions and more will be answered in the next episode of… yeah, maybe not Donald though, cos he’s a fandan! Enjoy

I am taking you back 33 years, yes that’s how old you are, to 1984. Style Council, Howard Jones, The Smiths. Some lost in the wilderness bands like Break Machine or Bronski Beat yes the eighties were cheesier than a double whopper with extra cheese, and that’s a lot of cheese, not really good for you know, you really gotta cut that shit out and eat some more healthy shit.

Anyway, the music Wham! Check, Duran Duran, Check, Status Quo Check, Gene Vincent Check, … wait a minute… Gene Vincent? Ohhhh he’s in the album chart section, check, a bit of Pointer Sisters, Sister Sledge, Madness, OMD, Phil Collins and Bob Marley. Download it live it.. breathe it… beeee it.

Through The Music - UB40

The story of UB40 has been a prominent one from day one. The politics, the music, the break-ups, the makeups, the splits, the replacements (that didn’t work out). But none of that is relevant apart from what is disclosed in their own writing. Through The Music.

They first caught our attention with hits like “My Way Of Thinking”, “Food For Thought”, “The Earth Dies Screaming” through to the biggest period with number ones in the eighties and nineties, cover versions that they seem to do so well. Here are thirty handpicked gems from the greatest Reggae Fusion band there is, and a few extras in there too. Enjoy! 
